Initial Consideration when planning your Campaign

The following outlines what you might want to consider when planning to campaign your project on Futurize.io

  1. Think about which of the 9 Planetary Boundaries your project will have a positive impact on

  2. Ideally we’d like a description of the whole project...the big picture, your ultimate goal

  3. Imagery and graphics to show/explain this to the general public
    - This is important so as to generate excitement around the grand plan of your project and motivate people to fund your smaller Milestones over time

  4. Break down the Project into smaller Milestones
    - The Milestones will be the individual funding targets within your campaign
    - Provide imagery applicable to each Milestone if possible
    - Provide a description that is applicable to each Milestone
    - What will be done, why?
    - What do you intend to spend the money on and when

  5. Consider what you might want to offer as a reward to contributors
    - This can be anything and doesn’t necessarily need to have a monetary value
    - You may have your own ideas but examples may be to name a building after them, a plaque on a park bench, an open day where people can come and see the progress being made, maybe a free lunch etc…
    - You may also want to think about something that would be applicable to someone who is not local

  6. We will produce Digital Cards which will represent your project in different ways
    - The design of these will always be a work in progress, it is optional but if you have any imagery, logos etc...we could use for these, that would be great

  7. We’d like to engage with your current supporters when you decide to go live on our website
    - We’d like to invite people that know and trust your organisation to our platform and acknowledge them as local supporters
    - This is also an initial method to engage the local community and spread the word to the general public

  8. Setting up your campaign on our website
    - Imagery and script provided above will be use for this
    - We will draft the project teaser and full description page on our website and share with you for feedback and amendments before going live

Take a look at the Campaign Application Form above for more detail on what you might need to think about
